The Technology Guiding aeris’s Swiss-Engineered Air Purification
From HEPA to activated charcoal, aeris’s purifiers are made with every detail in mind, and at the highest level of sophistication.
Explore the technology behind our purifiers in the slider below.
HEPA measures the different size particles that come through a filter, from big particles like pet dander to incredibly small ones like viruses.
Our aair 3 in 1 Pro and aair lite are both rated HEPA 13, which means that they remove air pollutants down to .1 microns at 99.95% effectiveness. That size includes viruses and bacteria. And our Medical Pro is rated HEPA 14, meaning a 99.995% effectiveness at .1 microns.
This means that the longer you own it, the better it runs and the less energy it uses.
In addition, all air purifiers are controllable through our aeris app, which allows you to create programs to adapt to your needs, control your air purifier from anywhere, and more.
A closed filtration system means that there is absolutely no air flow around or inside the air purifier. All polluted air goes through filtration, which means that 100% of all air in your purifier gets purified.
Most other air purification systems do not have this functionality, and thus recycle the polluted air even as they partially purify your air.
This technology means that these aeris air purifiers are ideal for even the most sensitive people, such as children, the elderly, and those with sensitive lungs.
All surfaces of aair lite and its filters, as well as on aair Medical and Gas Pro models antimicrobial coating.
According to the EPA: “When inhaled, ozone can damage the lungs. Relatively low amounts can cause chest pain, coughing, shortness of breath and throat irritation.”
In other words, the ozone generated by some air purifiers does the opposite of protecting us from pollution: it simply shifts danger from one area to another.
But aeris is committed to effectively removing dangerous pollutants while also no releasing any ozone.
So you can sleep deeply the whole night while also having your days be distraction-free, all while keeping your air pure.
The AHAM AC-1 is a widely used and industry approved test for air purifiers in North America.
A number of laboratories like SGS or Intertek offer these tests and they’re all performed under identical conditions.
* tested to AHAM AC-1 Standards via 3rd party tests.
The EN1822 tests are based on the latest European standards for air purifiers.
This test shows the efficacy of our filters after being discharged in a salt bath: a test which shows the long term efficiency of air purifiers.
The ISO18184 test that measures the reduction of Coronavirus on our filter material.
This shows the efficacy of our filter in killing 94% of the virus over the course of two hours.
Remove The Smallest Particles Quickly
Whether it’s viruses, bacteria, wildfire smoke, or allergens, aeris purifiers are able to remove your pollutants quickly and effectively. See the graphs below for more information.
